| How is the CPHH funded?
The Center was established as a New Intitiative in Interdisciplinary Research and Postbaccaluareate Education from the Office of the Vice President for Research, with matching funds from the College of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences, and the Medical School.
What are the goals?
The Center will be a catalyst for interdisciplinary collaboration to:

Link food development, production, processing, and distribution to consumer choice, preparation, consumption, and metabolism.

Promote development of whole foods that are effective in prevention and/or treatment of disease.

Promote identification and characterization of naturally occurring plant products that may have preventative and/or curative properties.
